Demoport e-Gift Coupons (e-GC) are issued and managed by Government-approved third-party Service Providers.

The e-GCs can be redeemed online only against products offered by sellers listed on www.demoport.in.

e-GCs can be purchased on www.demoport.in only using credit cards, debit cards and net banking.

e-GCs can be redeemed on the redemption page at www.demoport.in.

e-GCs cannot be used to purchase other e-GCs

If the total order value exceeds the e-GC amount, the balance amount can be paid using other payment options available on the site. Cash of Delivery option cannot be used to pay the balance amount.

f the total order value is less than the e-GC amount, the outstanding balance (after deduction of the order value) will reflect under the same e-GC that can be used for subsequent transactions.

e-GCs are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and will expire thereafter. Unused balance in the e-GC shall stand forfeited.

Unused balance amounts cannot also be transferred to another e-Gift Coupon and no interest is payable on e-GCs.

e-GCs cannot be redeemed for Cash or Credit.

Recipients can combine and use a maximum of 10 e-GCs per order. e-GCs can also be combined with Promo Codes.

12.

Recipients are solely responsible for the safety of the e-GCs issued. Demoport.in or the respective third-party service providers who issues the e-GCs are not responsible for any acts of omission or commission if the e-GC is lost, stolen or used without permission.

13.

Once the e-GC has been mailed, the recipient of the e-GC is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the e-GC PIN or e-GC number. In the event of any misuse of the issued e-GCs due to loss of any such confidential information due to the fault of the Recipient, Demoport or the third-party service providers shall not be responsible for the same and no refund can be issued.

Demoport and the third-party service provider issuing the e-GCs assume no responsibility for the products purchased using the e-GCs and any liability thereof is expressly disclaimed. Under no circumstances, shall Demoport or the third-party Service Provider be deemed responsible for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in goods supplied or services provided by the respective sellers.

Validity of the e-GCs cannot be extended under any circumstances and new e-GCS cannot be provided against the expired / unused e-GCs.

In the event of the recipients’ / purchasers’ Know Your Customer (KYC) details are found to be incorrect or insufficient, as per the RBI Guidelines, Demoport and the third-party service provider reserve the right to cancel the e-GC issued and the payment made will be credited back to the purchaser’s account.

e-GCs are Prepaid Instruments that are subject to regulations laid down by the RBI. Demoport and the third-party service provider who issues the e-GC are legally required to share the details of the purchase of these e-GCs, the transactions carried out using these e-GCs and the KYC details of the purchaser / redeemer of these e-GCs with RBI or such other statutory authorities, as per statutory guidelines issues from time to time. Demoport or the third-party service provider may contact the purchasers of the e-GCs in this regard.

There is no fee or other charges associated with the purchase of e-GCs

e-GCs cannot be reloaded or resold

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. The purchaser, Demoport and the third-party service provider agree that all the disputes arising hereunder shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Chennai.
